RFL – Round Flap Gate
VAYCOMVaycom Engineering RFL round flap gate model is a solution specifically designed for sewer lines in a variety of applications, including dams, sewage lines and wastewater disposal lines.
The flap stays closed preventing water back-flow, and it opens automatically when the unseating water head is higher than the seating water head.
They come in a wide range of sizes, varying from Ø150mm to Ø1200mm and provide a high level of watertightness.
Vaycom offers the possibility to design and manufacture larger models according to the specific needs of each customer.
Standard design
Designed according to DIN19569-4 Class 5.
Can be bolted to a flange or mounted on a wall.
Flange connection options according to different standards: PN2,5, PN10, PN6, PN16, ANSI150, among others.
Pressure
Pressure rating up to 5 bar in sizes DN150-DN1200.
(Other pressures on request).
Size
From DN150/6″ to DN1200/48″.
Materials
Mechanically welded construction in S275JR, AISI304L or AISI316L.

Aplicaciones
Its simple operation keeps the flap closed to prevent backflow and opens automatically when the backflow load is greater than the forward flow load.
Accesories and options
