KSB - Bidirectional Knife Gate Valve
VAYCOMThe KSB knife gate valve is bidirectional and features one-piece cast iron body with a wafer design for installation between flanges. The seat is inserted into the body creating a completely flat sealing surface with no internal cavities and preventing solids from accumulating in the sealing area.
The AISI 304L or AISI 316L stainless steel knife gate is guided, polished on both sides and has rounded edges to reduce wear on the seal and packing during operation.
The design provides high flow rates with low pressure loss. Various body, seal and packing materials are available. The face-to-face dimension follows the VAYCOM standard.
